We are currently recruiting for an experienced Equipment and Logistics Controller to join a busy and well-established operation in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-focused individual to play a key role in coordinating equipment, managing logistics, and supporting day-to-day warehouse activities.
Role
- Coordinating and tracking shipments using internal systems and processes
- Managing equipment allocation, returns, and live tracking systems
- Picking, packing, and accurately locating stock items
- Checking incoming goods against delivery notes and supplier paperwork
- Preparing outgoing shipments in line with company documentation requirements
- Liaising with couriers and arranging transport bookings as required
- Producing logistics documentation (delivery notes, commercial invoices, cargo summaries, etc.)
- Identifying and applying correct HS commodity codes for international shipments
- Supporting procurement activity, including supplier quotations and purchase orders
- Monitoring hired equipment and ensuring timely off-hire
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Supporting continuous improvement of processes and operational efficiency
- Working collaboratively across teams and supporting wider business needs
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment (oil & gas sector desirable)
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid FLT Counterbalance licence with proven experience
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use internal systems confidently
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Team-focused approach with strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
