C+E (HGV Class 1) Drivers Required – Nights | Monday to Friday and extra shifts available for the weekend for you want extra coming up to Christmas Driver required to do trunk runs Location: South Yorkshire Start Date: Immediate Pay: £17.39–£19.13 per hour (rate varies by start time and day) Contract: Ongoing night work Weekly Pay | Minimum 8 Hours Paid Per Shift About the Role Our client operates a range of night trunking and delivery runs and is seeking reliable, professional C+E (HGV Class 1) Drivers for ongoing shifts. The successful drivers will transport goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while following all traffic regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles to designated locations Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery, mileage, fuel, and compliance records Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules or delays Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards Ensure vehicles remain clean and well-maintained Requirements Full UK C+E licence (maximum 6 points – no DR10, CD10, IN10) Minimum 2 years holding a UK licence Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual Strong understanding of road safety and commercial driving standards Shifts & Hours Nights, Monday to Sunday Weekend work available if preferred Full-time: 40–60 hours per week Part-time: 8–15 hours per day (minimum 8 hours paid) What We Offer £17.39 per hour (Mon–Fri, Days) Enhanced Saturday & Sunday rates 12.07% holiday accrual Weekly pay – PAYE only (no Ltd companies) Digital timesheets for fast, easy submission 8-hour minimum shift pay 24/7 dedicated driver support line At Venatu Recruitment Group, your privacy is extremely important to us.
