Cat C Drivers required for days only, no nights out. HGV2 – pay rates start from £15.60 | Weekly Pay only | Starts asap.
Start Location: Barnsley | Start Date: Immediate | Job Type: Cat C Driving | Monday to Friday | 40–60 hours per week for full-time driver, paid a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Cat C vehicles to designated locations.
- Use a handheld scanner and assist with moving product to the back door for the unload team; primarily delivering to construction sites.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel use, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicles.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) with Cat C category.
- Held a UK licence with a minimum of 6 months.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and punctual.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR10, CD10, IN10).
