The Role
As a Mobile Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of trailers, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard and remain safe, reliable and roadworthy.
The role will involve working independently while providing a professional service, carrying out preventative maintenance and diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Complete repairs to a high standard Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
- Ensure trailers meet relevant safety and compliance standards
- Work independently while delivering a professional service
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, HGV Technician or similar
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience
- Experience working on trailers is highly desirable
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs effectively
- A professional and reliable approach to work
- Full UK driving licence
