Quality Controller Department: Quality / Manufacturing Reports To: Production Manager Direct Reports: Small team of Quality Inspectors Hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon Thurs 08:15 16:45, Fri 08:00 14:00 (negotiable within core hours) Salary: 38,000 42,000 DOE The Role We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Quality Controller to lead day-to-day quality inspection activities and ensure products meet customer, company and manufacturing requirements. As Quality Controller, you will have strong experience of ISO 9001 and IMS/quality management systems, managing non-conformances and corrective actions, and producing and implementing quality procedures and documentation. You will also be confident interpreting detailed engineering drawings and leading a small team of Quality Inspectors. Key Responsibilities As our Quality Controller, you will: Manage and oversee day-to-day quality control and inspection activities. Lead, support and coordinate a small team of Quality Inspectors, allocating work effectively and ensuring inspections are completed on time. Inspect components, assemblies and finished products against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
