HGV Workshop Controller Salary: Β£51,500 per annum Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off β Days Contract: Permanent The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Workshop Controller within an HGV workshop environment and will be confident managing a large team and overseeing the day-to-day running of a busy workshop. This is an off-the-tools management position, so previous Workshop Controller or equivalent workshop management experience is essential. You will have a strong technical background, having previously worked on the tools as an HGV Technician, and will hold a Level 3 HGV qualification. Experience within an HGV main dealer / dealer environment would be highly desirable. The Role As HGV Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop, leading and supporting a team of up to 20 members of staff. This is a fully off-the-tools position, focused on managing people, workflow and workshop performance while ensuring high standards of safety, quality and customer service are maintained. Your responsibilities will include: Managing, supporting and motivating a team of up to 20 workshop staff Coordinating daily workshop activities and allocating work efficiently Ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired to a high standard Monitoring workshop productivity, quality and performance Ensuring health
