VPOFSALES–EMEA
We’re partnered with a PE‑backed enterprise technology business going through a significant period of growth.
With a high 8‑figure revenue, 200+ employees and an international footprint across 20+ countries, they’re now looking for a VP of Sales EMEA to take ownership of the commercial function and help build the next phase of the business.
This isn’t a role where you’re inheriting a perfectly built sales machine. You’re being brought in to build it.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You’ll report directly to the CEO and join the Senior Leadership Team, with responsibility for the entire EMEA commercial operation.
You’ll initially lead a team of 3–4 sales professionals, with a clear mandate to build the function around you.
Your focus will be to:
Build a proactive outbound sales engine
Drive new‑logo revenue across EMEA
Increase wallet share across a highly loyal enterprise customer base
Build relationships with C‑suite stakeholders across major enterprise accounts
Create the sales infrastructure, processes and CRM discipline needed to scale
Work with an international partner network to win global enterprise opportunities
Build and develop a high‑performing commercial team
And importantly…
THIS ROLE HAS A GENUINE CRO PATHWAY
The long‑term intention is for this person to become the company’s first Global Chief Revenue Officer.
This is not a title being dangled to get someone through the door.
Progression is linked to clearly defined commercial milestones, including:
Building the EMEA pipeline engine
Establishing predictable forecasting
Delivering cross‑sell growth
Building a self‑sufficient sales team
The target is a year‑2–3 transition into Global CRO.
At that point, there is also some meaningful growth‑share/equity participation linked to revenue growth, gross margin and company valuation.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We’re open to two types of profile:
Experienced Sales Director / VP Sales
Someone who has already led enterprise sales teams and carried significant revenue responsibility, and is ready to take ownership of a larger EMEA mandate.
Senior commercial operator
Someone already operating at VP/near‑CRO level who wants the opportunity to build something significant within a PE‑backed environment.
You’ll ideally have:
8–15 years' enterprise technology sales experience
Experience leading sales teams and owning revenue targets
Experience selling complex technology/ service solutions
Experience with 300k+ enterprise deals
Experience selling into manufacturing, distribution, logistics, pharma or similarly complex industries
Experience operating across multiple European markets
Oracle experience is essential. If you don’t have leadership experience in the Oracle ecosystem you won’t be considered.
But we’re particularly interested in builders.
Someone who has previously:
Built an outbound engine
Introduced sales processes
Improved forecasting
Developed salespeople
Created structure where there wasn’t much before
WHY THIS ROLE?
This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond simply running sales numbers.
You’ll have:
Direct CEO access
SLS exposure
EMEA ownership
PE backing
International scope
The opportunity to build a sales organisation… and a clearly defined route towards Global CRO.
The business has a strong technical proposition and a loyal enterprise customer base. The opportunity is to put the commercial infrastructure and growth engine around it.
