Venator Search are partnered with a US-listed financial services broker that is looking to recruit a Finance Analyst to join their Group Finance team based in Central London. The role is available due to several internal promotions and is ideal for a newly qualified Accountant making their first move from Audit into industry.
The Role
- Support the Finance Managers and Controllers within the team in the delivery of group reporting, technical accounting, and global transformation projects.
- Assist with the monthly Group IFRS 16 reporting cycle, including reviewing and analysing lease data across the business.
- Support the development of technical accounting papers for complex transactions, such as acquisitions and non-standard lease arrangements.
- Play a role in group-wide control activities, including quarterly reviews of IFRS 16 movements and acquisition accounting.
- Contribute to the preparation of Group consolidated financial statements (both interim and annual), working closely with external auditors.
- Partner with stakeholders across various functions to deliver accurate, high-quality accounting insights and outputs.
- Help drive continuous improvement through involvement in process optimisation, system enhancements, and wider transformation initiatives across the Group.
The candidate:
- Newly qualified with up to 1 years PQE.
- Previous experience in the Audit of large complex businesses.
- Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP is essential.
