Venator Search are partnered with a leading Private Credit fund in their search for a Corporate Accountant to join their Mayfair-based Finance team. The firm has grown year on year since inception and is now looking for a qualified Accountant (FP&A) to support its continued growth plans. You will join a team of four qualified Accountants and be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, financial modelling, and budgeting for the group, as well as supporting the wider team in the review of corporate and management accounts. You will also provide financial analysis on quarterly performance for presentation at board level.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own budgeting and forecasting cycles, including variance analysis and reforecasts
- Deliver FP&A insights through financial modelling and performance tracking
- Review prepared multi-currency company and management accounts
- Prepare consolidated statutory accounts under UK GAAP/IFRS
- Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly budget updates (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
- Assist in the preparation of Board reports
- Liaise with UK-based auditors, tax advisors, and Companies House
- Run month-end reports and provide financial analysis of performance vs budget
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities to support the wider team
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified Accountant
- Hands-on accounts preparation experience
- Must have prior Asset Management experience
- Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software
- Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical Excel skills, with the ability to interpret, question, and challenge financial data
