Base Pay

Salary: up to £110,000 + strong % bonus

Location: City, London (3 days in the office)

A leading international Financial Services organisation with operations in over 100 countries is seeking a skilled Group Financial Controller to join its high-performing external reporting team.

Working within a collaborative, technically strong finance function, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality Group reporting across multiple frameworks while supporting an ambitious growth agenda driven by ongoing M&A activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly Group consolidations under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Produce Group cash flow statements and support statutory and lender reporting.
• Support M&A activity, including acquisition accounting and onboarding of new entities.
• Assess revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and US GAAP.
• Contribute to reporting transformation projects, including new reporting systems implementation.
• Collaborate with global finance teams to strengthen processes and reporting quality.
• Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting, controls, and consolidation processes.

The Candidate

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA) with at least 8 years post-qualified experience
• Trained in practice, most likely within the Big Four
• Strong background in either auditing or delivering Consolidation under IFRS and US GAAP.
• Advanced MS Excel (Index Match and VLOOKUP formulae), data manipulation and analysis.
