Venator Search are recruiting for an international financial services broker who’s looking to add a Finance Manager to its Group External Reporting team. Reporting to the Head of External Reporting, you will have broad exposure across Group reporting and consolidation, alongside involvement in M&A activity and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting and consolidation.
- Prepare consolidation journals, including intercompany eliminations, deferred tax and other adjustments.
- Review P&L and balance sheet movements, investigating and resolving variances.
- Support technical accounting matters, including IFRS 15 and Group accounting papers.
- Assist with M&A accounting and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and associated reporting.
- Work with external auditors and internal finance teams throughout the reporting cycle.
The Candidate
- Qualified Accountant with strong post-qualified experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience of large, multi-currency Group consolidations.
