Summary: Our client is a well-established chemical distributor, specialising in food ingredients and functional chemicals across the UK and Ireland. Founded in 2003, with an annual turnover of approximately £28-30 million, they operate from a state-of-the-art, solar-powered warehouse in Kingswinford and demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. The IT and Marketing Executive will maintain and optimise the Salesforce CRM, oversee the company’s website and social media platforms, and provide strategic data insights for the sales and marketing teams. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role collaborates closely with senior management to enhance efficiency, digital presence, and continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimise the Salesforce CRM system, including running and customising reports.
- Manage the company website, focusing on SEO, coding, content updates, and page rankings.
- Oversee social media accounts.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide essential customer and sales data reports.
- Ensure the company’s website is regularly updated with optimised content for improved SEO.
- Collaborate with other departments for reporting and data insights to improve sales and marketing strategies.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce, particularly in report generation, customisation, and streamlining.
- Familiarity with Sage CRM and awareness of Dexterity warehouse management system.
- Experience with SEO and SEM techniques to enhance website visibility.
- Basic knowledge of coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or PHP) for website management.
- Proven ability to manage social media channels.
