Venari Finance are delighted to be working in partnership with our listed client in Glasgow to recruit an operationally focused Finance Business Partner.
The role will report directly into the Head of Finance for Scotland and will support a number of key stakeholders across the business including operations, engineering and commercial.
Role Overview:
- Business partner with operational, engineering and commercial managers.
- Attend in person, be visible on site and build relationships with site/depot/divisional teams, actively participate in management meetings and any other meetings as requested by company management team/financial controllers.
- Lead and coach the regional assistant accountant.
- Ensure the timely delivery of the period end process.
- Costing support as required, either for internal business cases, bids & tenders or external purposes.
- Analysis of the management accounts and variances to budget/forecast and prior year, with supporting commentary to ensure managers understand drivers of performance.
- Support the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting as required.
- Work with the data & analytics team and central commercial teams to ensure consistent data use and understanding of commercial business performance.
- Responsible for reviewing the accuracy of all financial and non-financial records, working with the financial accountant and assistant management accountant to identify errors or inconsistencies.
Candidate Background:
- Qualified- CIMA, ICAS, ACCA- QBE also considered.
- Strong Excel experience.
- Desire to work closely and support non-finance stakeholders across the business.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Package:
£55,000-£60,000
Hybrid- 3 days per week required onsite.
