How you’ll be protecting the world:
As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Venafi, you’ll be part of an extremely motivated, dedicated, highly skilled and experienced team that protects many of the world’s largest organizations. As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will be part of the team within Venafi, a Cloud Native professional service team that prides itself on helping startups and enterprises alike in their path to modern Cloud Native maturity. Our mission is to build the best team that will guide and support companies in their adoption of Kubernetes and Cloud Native technologies. Our deep understanding and real-world experience in a variety of environments (cloud and on-premises), enable us to accelerate customer projects and provide them with confidence in their operations.
Our Solution Engineers architect, design and implement Kubernetes-based solutions. They work directly with customers, onsite and remote, and are as comfortable in front of a whiteboard explaining concepts to a customer as at a keyboard implementing complex and bespoke solutions. They are expected to take part in delivering Kubernetes training or workshops to a wide variety of audiences and other engineers on the possibilities they can unlock with Kubernetes. They understand how to integrate and make the most of Kubernetes and related cloud-native technologies across a variety of industries and problem domains. They possess a curiosity and have a passion for pushing boundaries through innovation and experimental ideas.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer you will:
- Work on customer facing project, collaborating with others in solving technical issues
- Determine how to best approach new assignments and are self-sufficient during delivery
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members ad-hoc
- Proactively communicate your plans, progress, and problems to relevant colleagues in and around your team
- Build alignment with people from other technical teams as needed
