The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be responsible for accurately diagnosing faults with industrial batteries and chargers on MHE equipment, servicing, and emergency repairs. A typical day will consist of service and maintenance work on customer equipment, including battery chargers, to ensure they are in full working order. You will be expected to work independently in a safe manner on customer sites, you will need to be able to communicate well with customers and internal colleagues and will need to be able to ensure all relevant documentation is completed correctly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance, installation and repair of batteries and industrial chargers on customer sites to agreed standards and technical specifications.
- Brief the customer on the practical use and maintenance of the equipment.
- Recommend the purchase of new or replacement products as appropriate.
- Identify business development opportunities to negotiate the sale of any new or replacement products whilst on customer’s site.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out the necessary fault diagnosis and repair submitting accurate reports via PDA.
- Any other reasonable duties as instructed.
- Proactive attitude toward Health and Safety demonstrating engagement with safety campaigns and near miss reporting to improve safety and reduce workplace incidents.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial 2‑volt MHE batteries and chargers – preferable but not essential.
- Electrical or electronic qualification – C&G, 17th edition, ONC, NVQ etc – preferable but not essential.
