The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
You will be the face of the company representing Velocity to clients and the public alike. You will be required to travel around the country fixing potholes for a fortnight at a time before returning home for a long weekend.
Key role responsibilities:
- Operate the Road Patching Machine to complete road repairs.
- Ensure work meets client, safety, and environmental standards.
- Complete daily/weekly reports using a tablet or smartphone.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
- Assist with minor repairs and machine calibration.
- Work closely with supervisors, colleagues, and clients.
The ideal candidate must have:
- CSCS Card
- Minimum 2 years driving experience preferred.
- Confident using smartphones/tablets for reporting.
- Mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- Be prepared to work from home for a minimum of 2 weeks at a time.
The following would be preferred:
- Class 1 or 2 driving licence.
- Driver CPCs provided.
- Smartphone and/or tablet.
- Subsistence up to £30 per 24 hours (where applicable).
