I’m currently working on an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager with pensions experience to join a fast-growing fintech and take ownership of a newly launched pension proposition. This is not a backlog-management role. You’ll have genuine ownership of the product strategy, roadmap and customer proposition, working closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Operations, Risk, Compliance and senior leadership to build and scale a product that will have a meaningful impact on customers.
Why this role is worth a look:
- Own a pension product end-to-end — strategy, discovery, roadmap, delivery and optimisation
- Join a high-growth fintech where Product has a genuine voice at the table
- Work directly with senior leadership and have significant influence over product direction
- Build and improve a product used by a growing customer base
- Work across Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Risk & Compliance
- Have the autonomy to make decisions rather than waiting for layers of approval
- Be part of a business that is investing heavily in AI and modern product development
- Opportunity to shape a product proposition that is still evolving — rather than inheriting a mature product and simply maintaining it
Experience:
- Strong commercial Product Management experience
- Proven ownership of products from discovery → build → launch → optimisation
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, KPIs and success metrics
- Strong data-driven decision making and customer-centric thinking
- Hands-on experience working with pensions
- Strong understanding of the UK pensions market
- Experience with SIPPs, pension transfers or retirement products
- Experience working within a regulated financial services environment
- Exposure to third-party providers, platforms or financial services partners
Personality / approach:
- Commercial, pragmatic and highly autonomous
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving scale-up environment
- Able to influence senior stakeholders and bring teams together
- Someone who enjoys solving complex problems rather than simply managing a backlog
- Curious about AI and how it can improve the product lifecycle
