(SC) Platform Engineer, who thrives at the intersection of robust cloud architecture, cutting-edge API management, and seamless automation?

We are looking for a heavyweight Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimise enterprise cloud solutions.

This isn't just a maintenance role; you will actively feed engineering insights directly into the wider Strategy & Architecture teams to shape the technical direction of the organization.

The Tech Stack & Toolkit API Management: Strong, deep expertise with the Kong Konnect API Platform is essential.

Cloud & Containers: Advanced AWS ecosystem knowledge (EC2, NLB, API Gateway, ASG) combined with Docker and Kubernetes.

Infrastructure as Code (Ia C): Hands-on Cloud Formation (scripting, troubleshooting, and debugging) or Terraform.

CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins (multibranch, Groovy scripting) and Git Hub Actions.

Configuration & Scripting: Python, Chef, and strong Linux command-line troubleshooting.

Networking

Fundamentals: A rock-solid understanding of DNS, TLS, routing, VPNs, and edge platforms like Cloudflare.

What Youll Be Doing Architect & Optimize: Design, build, and maintain highly efficient, reusable, and reliable AWS platform solutions.

Drive

Automation: Implement advanced CI/CD frameworks to ensure secure, rapid deployments.

Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with cross-functional product teams (designers, PMs, analysts) and bridge the gap between development and infrastructure.

Document & Standardize: Author clear procedures and policies to future-proof system infrastructure.

You have 810 + years of engineering experience, with a proven track record as a Senior Platform Engineer.

You are an expert communicator who can collaborate seamlessly with both developers and product teams.

You are based in or commutable to Leeds (3 days a week in office) and are open to occasional travel to London.
