Advisory Board Member Opportunity - Velocity Group (including Velocity Talent)
Location: Hybrid / Remote
Commitment: Flexible, part-time (approx. 12 days per month)

The Opportunity
As an Advisory Board Member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy, governance, and market presence. You will bring your experience, credibility, and network to support the leadership team as we expand our footprint across the STEM, Technology, Healthcare, and Specialist Services markets. This is an opportunity to contribute to a profitable, fast-scaling business while building your own plural board portfolio and influencing an ambitious, values-led organisation at a defining stage of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise the leadership team on business strategy, structure, and long-term positioning
- Provide mentorship and guidance to senior leaders and founders
- Offer insight into market trends, talent challenges, and emerging opportunities
- Facilitate introductions to potential clients, partners, and senior hires
- Support governance, investor confidence, and brand credibility
- Participate in 2-4 Advisory Board meetings per year (virtual or in-person)
- Champion and promote the business within your professional network
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in scaling or exiting a business within Science, Technology, Engineering, or Manufacturing
- Strong professional network of senior leaders, decision-makers, or investors within the STEM or related ecosystems
- Experience advising or mentoring at board or executive level
