We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a well-known Planned Maintenance company and take responsibility for delivering works across the Stevenage Council contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in social housing, planned maintenance, or refurbishment to take a key role in managing projects from start to finish.

- Window and door replacement
- Pitched roof replacement and refurbishment
- Planned maintenance and associated external works
- Managing multiple sites and workstreams
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, coordinating subcontractors and directly employed teams, maintaining health & safety standards, and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality and client requirements. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, client representatives, subcontractors and residents to ensure the smooth delivery of the programme.
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, refurbishment or planned maintenance
- Experience working on social housing / local authority contracts is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
- Experience managing subcontractors and site teams
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A strong understanding of quality, programme and commercial requirements
- Relevant SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
