The Role
After a series of project wins an exciting opportunity has arisen at one of UK's largest main contractors. They are looking to recruit a Design Manager to play a key role in their fit out and refurbishment division. The initial projects you would be working on are large hospital refurbishments with values between £5-£10m.

They are known for the quality of the design in their projects and are looking for a likeminded individual to join this successful team.
The Candidate
The successful individual will have worked for a main contractor as a Design Manager or an Assistant Design Manager / Architectural Technologist who has taken the lead on fit-out or refurbishment projects previously at RIBA stage 3+. Hospital/NHS or similar projects experience would be preferred but not essential.
Key Skills
- Design Management experience RIBA 3+
- Ability to manage stakeholders
- Excellent IT Skills, Numeracy and Communications skills are required
Key Accountabilities
- Produce and negotiate the project specific designer agreements
- Produce & manage a realistic design programme
- Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement and innovation
