My client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, recruiting a Mechanical Lead to join the team located in Kings Cross, working for an established blue-chip contract. The contract is for one of the largest, well-known tech companies globally, and they are looking for a Mechanical Lead to look after the building maintenance of their headquarters.
As the Mechanical Lead, you will assist with the management of the team responsible for all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and workforce development programs for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities.
- Manage operations and maintenance for assigned facilities. Assist in the development of operating and capital budgets.
- Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all Heating & Air-conditioning plant to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
- Ensure that Evaporative Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
- Implement improvements.
