About the Role:

My client is a global leading provider in facilities management and they are looking for a lead electrical engineer to oversee the maintenance of all building services, for one of their prestigious blue-chip contracts. As the Site Lead, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the site maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric services. You'll play a key role in maintaining compliance with statutory and mandatory standards, driving performance, and delivering exceptional service to our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of M&E plant and equipment.
  • Manage the CAFM system to monitor performance and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
  • Supervise specialist contractors and manage minor works.
  • Conduct risk assessments, method statements, and work package plans.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance and ensure timely completion of PPM tasks.
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement across the contract.

Person Specification:

  • Electrical qualifications from a recognised institution (C&Gs / NVQ)
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Proficient in CAFM systems and E-Log Book management.
  • Experience in compiling risk assessments and quotations.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Knowledge of water treatment & HVAC
  • Knowledge of M&E services, BMS systems, and statutory compliance.
