We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established and highly respected property services contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term contract delivering essential planned maintenance and decarbonisation works within occupied social housing properties on behalf of the L&Q contract.

This role is ideal for a confident and proactive RLO who has experience managing resident relationships across planned maintenance programmes and can provide outstanding customer service throughout the delivery of works.

The Role

As a Senior Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key link between residents, site teams, and the client, ensuring residents are fully informed, supported, and updated throughout the lifecycle of works. You will play a vital role in maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction while ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact between residents, clients, and operational teams
  • Provide clear and consistent communication regarding planned works, schedules, and any disruptions
  • Arrange and attend resident meetings, consultations, and property visits
  • Manage resident queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Support vulnerable residents and ensure individual needs are considered throughout the project
  • Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions and correspondence
  • Work closely with Site Managers and Project Teams to support programme delivery
  • Promote a positive customer experience and maintain strong community relationships

About the Project

You will be working on the L&Q contract, delivering planned maintenance works including roof and door replacements programme. These works are focused on improving energy efficiency and enhancing homes across the housing stock.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing, planned maintenance, or construction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience dealing with residents in occupied properties
  • Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Well-organised, proactive, and capable of working independently
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
