A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Construction Manager to join its growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering major construction projects through innovative digital engineering and BIM-led solutions.
The Role
You will lead the digital construction strategy across complex projects, driving BIM implementation, coordination, and information management throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project teams, consultants, and supply chain partners, you will ensure best-in-class digital delivery standards are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Digital Construction and BIM processes on major projects
- Oversee project information management in line with ISO 19650 standards
- Manage model federation, clash detection, and coordination workflows
- Drive collaboration between design, construction, and supply chain teams
- Produce and review BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and digital delivery strategies
- Support project teams with digital construction tools and workflows
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance across all digital deliverables
- Mentor and develop Digital Construction Coordinators and BIM staff
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Digital Construction / BIM Management role within a leading contractor
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows and digital project delivery
- Advanced experience using:
- Navisworks
- Solibri
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud / Revit / Common Data Environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2 standards
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects in the UK
