We are working with a well-established and highly regarded planned maintenance contractor delivering works for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a long-term programme of external and energy-efficiency works across scattered residential properties.
Scope of Works
- External Wall Insulation (EWI)
- Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
- Window replacements
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the commercial management of planned maintenance projects
- Supporting the preparation of cost reports, forecasts, and valuations
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and account management
- Helping manage variations and change control
- Supporting the preparation of final accounts
- Working closely with site teams and senior commercial staff
- Maintaining accurate commercial records and documentation
About You
- Previous experience in a commercial or Assistant Quantity Surveyor role (planned maintenance, refurbishment, or social housing preferred)
- Knowledge or interest in EWI, IWI, façade, or window replacement works
- Understanding of JCT contracts (or willingness to develop this knowledge)
- Strong numerical, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence
