My client is a global leading provider in facilities management, and they are looking for a shift engineer to look after the building services for one of their prestigious critical data centre contracts, located in Romford. The engineer will be expected to have excellent understanding of Critical Facilities/Data Centre infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, and DC specific infrastructure). They will be responsible for effective inspection, operation and maintenance of all associated assets within the Data Centre, with a primary focus on risk management, enhancing the quality of the service delivery.
As the post holder, you will be expected to have detailed understanding of electrical infrastructure. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the inspection, operation and maintenance of all associated assets within the Data Centre, with a primary focus on electrical asset maintenance (Planned, Reactive and Corrective). This is a great opportunity for career progression as the client looks to train and qualify the engineer into a HVAP; There is also potential for you to be a HV Authorised Person for the site and actively contribute to the successful delivery of all critical works.
- Operate all M&E systems within the Data Centre in a competent, effective and efficient manner (including HV Electrical isolations/operations).
