Resident Liaison Officer – Kitchens & Bathrooms Location: East London Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Sector: Social Housing / Planned Works Client: Main Contractor Programme: Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement Works We are currently recruiting for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join an established main contractor delivering a programme of kitchen and bathroom replacement works for L&Q across East London. This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced RLO to play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to residents throughout the programme, while working closely with the site and contracts management teams. The Role As Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the key point of contact for residents throughout the works, ensuring they are fully informed, supported and kept up to date from initial consultation through to completion. Your responsibilities will include: * Acting as the main point of contact for residents throughout the programme. * Carrying out pre-start visits and resident consultations. * Explaining the works, programme and timescales clearly to residents. * Arranging access to properties and coordinating appointments. * Maintaining regular communication with residents before and during the works. * Managing resident queries, concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently. * Keeping residents informed of progress, changes and any potential disruption. * Working closely with Site Managers and Contracts Managers to resolve issues. * Identifying residents who may require additional support or consideration. * Carrying out post-completion visits and ensuring residents are satisfied with the completed works. * Maintaining accurate records of resident communication, access and issues. * Supporting the wider team in achieving excellent resident satisfaction and customer service standards. About You We are looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer who has worked within social housing, refurbishment or planned maintenance environments. You will ideally have: * Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer on social housing or refurbishment projects. * Experience working on kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes is highly desirable. * Experience working within occupied properties. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * A professional, approachable and empathetic manner. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple properties and resident requirements. * Experience dealing with resident queries, complaints and challenging situations. * The ability to build positive relationships with residents, subcontractors, site teams and client representatives. * Good IT and administration skills. * Own car and full UK driving licence – essential.
