The Role

You will lead the design process from pre-construction through to delivery, gaining exposure to high-value, technically complex projects, and working within close-knit, experienced teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination of the design process across live projects
  • Manage design programmes, deliverables, and consultant performance
  • Identify and mitigate design risks, ensuring buildability and compliance
  • Act as a key interface between project teams, consultants, and stakeholders

The Candidate

This role is ideal for someone looking to push their career forward within a Tier 1 environment. You will have:

  • 3–5+ years’ experience within Design Management or a similar role
  • Exposure to construction projects with a contractor, sub-contractor or consultancy
  • Exposure to Commercial (office, retail, etc.) or Framework (DfE, NHS, MoD, MoJ, etc.) environments is desirable but not essential

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or similar
  • CIAT/RIBA/CIOB pathway desirable
