We are seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to work with one of the UK's leading property services companies. They specialise in both planned and responsive works for RSL's (registered social landlords) and pride themselves as a market leader. Due to continued company growth, they are looking for a thriving Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Planned Maintenance Division. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of delivering a landmark project: the £26 million Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) initiative on the Riverside Contract.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial aspects of the Riverside SHDF project from inception to completion.
  • Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure costs are effectively monitored and controlled.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost forecasts, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Administer subcontractor procurement and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Contribute to project reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up.
  • Work with the Commercial Manager to agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts.

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within planned maintenance, social housing, or refurbishment sectors.
  • Experience managing large-scale contracts, ideally within the planned maintenance sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts.
