Position: M&E Design Manager
Salary: Up to £80,000 + package
Location: London
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience working for a specialist contractor or for an established main contractor.
The company is a leading main contractor in the construction industry and specializes in commercial, education, healthcare, custodial, and retail projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing all M&E installations strictly in accordance with the clients’ specifications.
- Effective management of M&E contractors.
- Programme and facilitate the flow of M&E information.
- Attend client meetings and provide updates on progress.
- Organise and chair M&E design coordination meetings.
- Review subcontractor submittals.
- Inspect, assess & verify commissioning of MEP systems.
- Timely submittal of the Safety File Data for the client on project completion.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Relevant degree/diploma or related discipline required.
- Preferably 3+ years’ experience with a main contractor.
- Familiar with MEP packages.
- Proven track record in ideally working on commercial office projects.
- Willing to contribute and adhere to the Q.A. & H.S.E requirements.
