We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a well-established and highly respected property services contractor. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term contract delivering essential planned maintenance and decarbonisation works within occupied social housing properties on behalf of the L&Q contract.
The role is ideal for a confident and proactive RLO who has experience managing resident relationships across planned maintenance programmes and can provide outstanding customer service throughout the delivery of works.
The Role
- Act as the main point of contact between residents, clients, and operational teams
- Provide clear and consistent communication regarding planned works, schedules, and any disruptions
- Arrange and attend resident meetings, consultations, and property visits
- Manage resident queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Support vulnerable residents and ensure individual needs are considered throughout the project
- Maintain accurate records of all resident interactions and correspondence
- Work closely with Site Managers and Project Teams to support programme delivery
- Promote a positive customer experience and maintain strong community relationships
About the Project
You will be working on the L&Q contract, delivering planned maintenance works including roof and door replacements programme. These works are focused on improving energy efficiency and enhancing homes across the housing stock.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer within social housing, planned maintenance, or construction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience dealing with residents in occupied properties
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
- Well-organised, proactive, and capable of working independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
