A leading main contractor specialising in planned refurbishment works within the social housing sector is seeking an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join their growing team in East London. The business has recently secured a major Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) framework worth £30m per year, delivering improvement works across multiple boroughs including Waltham Forest, Newham, Hackney and Tower Hamlets. This represents a long‑term programme of works and offers excellent job stability and career progression within a well‑established contractor.
The Role
As Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key link between the site team, the client and residents. You will ensure tenants are fully informed throughout the programme of works while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents during refurbishment works
- Communicate programme updates, access requirements and progress of works
- Manage resident expectations and resolve any concerns or complaints
