The Company
This freelance Design Manager vacancy is with one of the UK’s leading main contractors. They are a diverse organisation with activities in most sectors of the built environment. This freelance Design Manager role is within their interiors division that undertakes a wide range of schemes in the private and public sectors including retail, commercial & education fit out & refurbishment projects which will vary in value from £250k – £150m. This specific role is a result of a large contract win with the client seeking additional support to deliver these contracts.
The Person
We are looking for a freelance Design Manager with experience working for a main contractor on retail fit out or office fit out schemes. You must be able to appoint consultants, lead meetings with external design teams ensuring they are delivering the design on time, within budget & at the desired quality.
