The Company
This Project Manager’s role is with one of the UK’s leading multi-disciplined property companies offering a wide range of services to a multi-national client base. Part of their offering includes acting as a principal main contractor on projects for their clients' existing property portfolios including M&E upgrades, building fabric refurbishment and commercial fit out with values from £200k - £5million.
The Role
We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of managing multiple schemes at any one time. For this role it is essential that you ideally have Data Centre experience or experience of managing Critical Resilience projects. You will need to be multi-skilled and be able to take projects from feasibility through to on-site delivery. Project values will range from £200k - £2m and the key skills you will need are:
- Client Facing – ability to develop client relationships.
- Commercial awareness – be able to manage the entire project costs from cost plan to final account.
- Networking skills – be able to assist in business development and securing a pipeline of project opportunities.
- Fully competent with Project Management techniques – Be able to deliver projects on time and on budget whilst following internal and external management processes and structures.
- Sub-contractor selection and management – Advise on procurement and provide expertise on sub-contractor capability.
- Broad understanding of construction Health and Safety law and legislation – Ensure that all projects meet their statutory obligations for CDM and H&S.
