CDM Principal Designer Fit Out & Refurbishment London We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established fit out contractor seeking an experienced CDM Principal Designer to join their expanding team. Working across a diverse portfolio of commercial fit out and refurbishment projects, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely and in full compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work across commercial offices, retail, banking, hospitality and public sector projects. The Role As CDM Principal Designer, you will: * Carry out the duties of Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations 2015. * Advise clients, designers and contractors on their CDM responsibilities. * Coordinate health and safety throughout the design process. * Review design information and identify potential construction risks. * Prepare and review Pre-Construction Information (PCI). * Ensure design risk management is carried out effectively. * Attend design team meetings and project progress meetings. * Liaise with clients, architects, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. * Support projects from concept through to completion. Requirements * Proven experience working as a CDM Principal Designer. * Strong knowledge of the CDM Regulations 2015. * Experience within commercial fit out and refurbishment projects. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (desirable). * Membership of APS, IOSH or another relevant professional body (desirable). * Full UK Driving Licence.
