We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a £15 million cut and carve refurbishment project in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Senior Project Manager with a strong background in major refurbishment and complex commercial construction projects to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a significant project from pre-construction through to completion.
The Role
- Overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the £15m refurbishment project
- Lead and manage the project team and wider site team
- Manage programme, budget, quality and health & safety
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and key stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and drive programme performance
- Manage commercial and contractual requirements alongside the commercial team
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the required specifications and standards
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager within the construction industry
- Experience delivering large-scale refurbishment / cut and carve projects
- Experience managing projects in the region of £10m+
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent knowledge of construction programmes, project delivery and commercial management
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant construction qualifications
- SMSTS and Black CSCS
- NVQ Level 6 or 7
