Project Manager - Mo J 12 Month Fixed Term Contract GL12 The Company This Project Manager’s role is with one of the UK's leading fit out contractors.

They have an excellent reputation and are responsible for refurbishing some of the region’s most iconic buildings.

The Role We are looking for a Project Manager (site-based lead) who has the ability to lead and the take ownership of a new build facility on a government project with a value of £10M EL1 Clearance required as this is a prison project.

Must have previous experience of working in prisons!

  • Overall responsibility for the success of a project ensuring it is handed over on time, to the client’s expectations and within budget.
  • Manage project programme.
  • Manage quality expectations and ensure these are achieved.
  • Assist with site establishment and site logistics.
  • Manage all requirements for Health, Safety and environment compliance.
  • Identifies and manages risk.
  • Ensure delivery against the project budgets.
  • Agree requirements for time, cost and quality aspects of trade contractor packages.

To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate and engaging approach.

Previous experience of working on government projects/framework is essential.

Please note this role is not to work within IT, it is working within the fit out sector of CONSTRUCTION The Plus Points A competitive day rate is on offer, and they will be additional projects to follow.

Please note EL1 Security Clearance is required as you will be fast tracked onto this proect straight away ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Current EL1 Security Clearance (Last 5 Years)
  • Recent experience of working on HMP or MOJ Projects
  • Available within next 4 weeks
