Freelance Site Manager – Kitchens & Bathrooms Location: East London Duration: 6 months Contract: Freelance Sector: Social Housing / Planned Works Client: Main Contractor Programme: Kitchen & Bathroom Replacement Works We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a programme of kitchen and bathroom replacement works for L&Q across East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing works across street properties, ensuring projects are delivered safely, to a high standard and with minimal disruption to residents. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the works, including: * Managing kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes from start to completion. * Supervising subcontractors and site operatives. * Ensuring all works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. * Coordinating trades and managing site logistics. * Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks. * Ensuring health & safety procedures and RAMS are adhered to. * Managing resident considerations and maintaining good communication with occupants throughout the works. * Liaising with the Contracts Manager, client representatives and other stakeholders. * Completing site records, progress reports and relevant project documentation. * Identifying and resolving issues promptly to keep the programme moving. About You We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with: * Previous experience managing kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes. * Experience working within social housing / occupied properties. * Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures. * Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * A professional approach to working with residents and client representatives. * The ability to work independently and manage a busy programme effectively. * Own car and full UK driving licence – essential. * Relevant Site Management / Health & Safety qualifications, ideally including SMSTS and First Aid.
