We are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join a long-term planned maintenance contract in West London for RBKC. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a £3m p/a social housing refurbishment programme covering 17 residential blocks (sub 7 storey). The role will suit someone confident managing occupied properties and capable of running projects from validation surveys through to completion.
Scope of Works
- Window replacements and repairs
- Roofing works and associated repairs
- Concrete repairs and structural maintenance
- External refurbishment works
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple occupied residential blocks
- Carry out validation surveys and oversee works through to handover
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour and material deliveries
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to budget
- Maintain high levels of health & safety compliance
- Conduct site inspections, progress meetings and reporting
- Liaise with residents, clients, consultants and internal teams
- Monitor quality, KPIs and site documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering planned maintenance/refurbishment projects within social housing
- Strong knowledge of roofing, windows, concrete repairs and external works
- Experience managing occupied properties
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively
- Full UK driving licence and own car essential
