Job Title – Electrical Engineer About the role My client is large tier 1 main contractor, specialising in property services and they are looking for a shift engineer to work on the Mercedes contract. The Engineer will be working to a site-specific shift pattern to conduct all necessary M&E maintenance. Key Accountabilities * To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to HVAC plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements. * Undertake minor fabric tasks and skilled & nonskilled tasks as required. * This includes the sites electrical distribution systems, control panels, split air conditioning units, chillers, air handling units, boilers, hot water generators, pumps, compressed air systems, building management system and all other M&E associated building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, and respond to site engineering emergencies. * To undertake small installation works, repairs to building fabric, and handyman duties and services to the site in an efficient and courteous manner, with a strong focus on customer care. * To support additional M&E works within the individual’s technical competencies and our contractual obligations. * To provide detailed reporting with predictive times for remedial and chargeable works, and life cycle condition reporting. * To provide high level Electrical technical and hands on support in the provision of our service delivery and the daily communication with our clients Key Competencies * C&G 2391 Inspect & Test * C&G PAT Testing Certificate * C&G Regulations 17th Edition * Experience of fault finding and maintaining HVAC systems * Working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes & Fault finding on electrical circuits
