A leading Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced Administrator / Secretary to join its team on a fixed-term basis. Based in Borehamwood, this is a front-of-house focused role that will provide essential administrative and office support to a busy project team.
This position would suit a highly organised, professional individual with excellent communication skills and previous experience working within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and clients
- Hosting client meetings, including arranging and serving refreshments
- Taking accurate meeting minutes and distributing actions where required
- Managing Smart Waste administration and associated records
- Coordinating meeting rooms and office facilities
- Handling correspondence, filing, and document management
- Supporting the project team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Maintaining office supplies and ensuring the reception area remains professional and welcoming
- Assisting with reports, presentations, and other project documentation as required
- Previous administrative or secretarial experience within a construction company is essential
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
