This Assembly Technician role is with a specialist manufacturer supplying the defence industry. Having been established for over 50 years, they have become one of the leading companies in their sector.
We are looking for an Assembly Technician ideally with a minimum of 2 years’ experience who has been working with electrical and/or mechanical components.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Handle small, medium and larger parts to create a finished product from either build instructions or directly from drawings.
- Test part assembled and finished product to specific test instructions.
- Ensure the assembly area is maintained as a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
- Ensure compliance with all company rules and regulations.
- Make sure that production timelines are maintained.
- Report all discrepancies and complete the necessary paperwork as appropriate.
- Ensure all products are being manufactured to a consistent build quality.
