Senior Quantity Surveyor - Planned Maintenance
Location: Bromley, South East London
Salary: Up to Β£75,000 + package
Hybrid: 1 day WFH after probation
About the Company
Our client is a well-established, family-owned construction and property group with a strong presence across London and the South East. Established in 1998, they deliver residential, commercial, refurbishment, planned maintenance and regeneration projects across the public and private sectors.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team at their Bromley head office.
The Role
You will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to completion, working closely with Project Managers, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project budgets, forecasts, cost reports and cash flow.
- Leading subcontractor procurement, negotiation and account management.
- Managing valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
- Monitoring commercial performance, risks and opportunities.
- Providing commercial support and guidance to the project delivery team.
- Building strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners.
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Senior Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor.
- Experience within planned maintenance, refurbishment or construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and commercial processes.
- Confident managing subcontractors, costs and commercial accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially focused with excellent attention to detail.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
