Maintenance Operative - External Works / EWI Projects

Velocity Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to work with a reputable main contractor on external maintenance works across EWI (External Wall Insulation) projects in Ealing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands‑on individual to join an established contractor, with up to six months of work available for the right candidate and an immediate start on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general external maintenance and repair works across EWI projects.
- Undertake window and door sealing to ensure effective weatherproofing.
- Carry out gutter maintenance, including clearing, minor repairs and general upkeep.
- Undertake minor brickwork and concrete repairs.
- Carry out small digging and basic groundworks tasks as required.
- Assist with general site maintenance and other ad hoc duties.
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Operative, Handyman or in a similar construction or maintenance role.
- Practical experience in general building maintenance and external repairs.
- Experience with window and door sealing, guttering, fencing or basic brickwork would be advantageous.
- A good understanding of site health and safety procedures.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
- A valid CSCS card is preferred.
