Within this very hands-on role of a Paid Search Account Manager, you will craft and execute cutting-edge paid search strategies with a focus on Google Ads that drive exceptional results. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive paid search strategies across multiple platforms, including Google, Microsoft, and Amazon, and manage campaigns in accordance with these strategies, tracking their performance to ensure that they are achieving the desired results.

Tasks

  • Ensure that all customer accounts managed by you have a commercial strategy in place, together with specific performance targets and objectives tailored to meet or exceed the business and commercial expectations of the client.
  • Work closely with an Account Strategist when devising and managing advanced strategies for larger clients.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals, and objectives of each of your customers.
  • Manage budgets in line with the strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target.
  • Measure the effectiveness of the campaigns across your customers and achieve increases in traffic and conversions.
  • Use a variety of tools, such as an in-house AI paid media marketing tool, to compile and draw insights from both company/sector-specific data, in order to better understand user trends and behavior.
  • Produce reports for clients containing a description of monthly activity, suitable advice and recommendations, and a clear summary of performance against the key performance indicators and metrics agreed with the customer.
  • Ensure all reports are of an excellent written standard and adhere to the company brand.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients and provide timely and efficient responses to all customer queries.
  • Attend and actively participate in customer meetings/QBRs when required.
  • Deliver other related solutions to the customers such as landing pages/social/eCommerce/brand refresh if they match the customers' needs.
  • Optimize client accounts for maximum performance using a variety of PPC practices.
  • Carry out regular maintenance for a number of assigned ongoing customer accounts, ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of these campaigns.
  • Efficiently manage your workload and accurately record your time.
  • Freely share knowledge, insights, best practices, tactics, and ideas.
  • Ensure your knowledge of the digital marketing industry is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources.

Requirements

  • Highly numerate with great business acumen.
  • Experienced in managing customer budgets.
  • Strong data analysis skills and able to make data-led recommendations.
  • Literate with the ability to produce excellent written reports.
  • 2 years + experience of Paid Search management in an agency environment is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of paid search methodologies and techniques for managing Paid Search Campaigns.
  • Analytical, with the ability to interpret information, news, data, and research quickly and focus on the most relevant information for strategic development.
  • High level knowledge of Google Analytics and other major third-party analytics platforms.
  • Good working knowledge of major social media channels including Facebook and LinkedIn, with experience of running paid advertising campaigns on these platforms.
  • Ability to set up and implement new PPC accounts and campaigns is essential.
