The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 Β£ per year.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic pharmacist who wishes to develop their clinical oncology and aseptic services skills. As a specialist pharmacist at Velindre, you will have a variety of duties, including aseptic, clinical, clinical trials, dispensary and ward-based roles.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Chief Pharmacist and Principal Pharmacists in developing and maintaining the pharmaceutical service to Velindre NHS Trust, ensuring it is safe, efficient, and compliant with Clinical Governance requirements.
- Provide and support aseptic services across the hospital.
- Support clinical oncology, haematology, and clinical trials, including SACT governance, antimicrobial stewardship, and medicines safety.
- Dispense medication in ward and clinical settings.
Qualifications
- Experience in oncology or haematology desirable; general clinical skills with a motivation to learn will also be considered.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome.
