We are looking for a Senior French-speaking Prompt Engineer / Applied Research Scientist to contribute to the development of AI-powered clinical documentation systems. In this role, you will work at the intersection of AI research, prompt engineering, and software development, designing and optimizing prompts for large language models used in healthcare documentation workflows. You will play a key role in improving the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI-generated clinical documentation.

Preferred Location: Remote collaboration within Europe is possible

Languages: French (C1–C2) and English

Experience: Senior level (5+ years)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and optimization of clinical prompt templates for large language models
  • Conduct systematic prompt experiments and evaluations to improve output quality and consistency
  • Analyze model behavior and failure modes to refine prompt strategies
  • Manage prompt artifacts and release workflows using Git and Azure DevOps
  • Develop Python scripts in Linux environments to run experiments, batch evaluations, and data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer feedback and operational insights into prompt improvements

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in LLM prompt engineering and instruction design
  • Solid Python development skills and experience working in Linux environments
  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative engineering workflows
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate model outputs and drive improvements
  • Experience with clinical documentation workflows or healthcare data is highly valued
  • Fluent French and English
