The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 Β£ per year.

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team, providing high-quality, autonomous clinical care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and minor illness. This role is specifically focused on weekend and overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Autonomously assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions, including minor illness
  • Prescribe medications independently (V300 or equivalent essential)
  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with UTC and organisational protocols
  • Support MDT
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and legal standards

About You

  • Registered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC)
  • Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) essential
  • Experience in urgent care
  • Competent and confident in the assessment and management of minor illness
  • Able to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions under pressure, particularly during quieter overnight periods with reduced on-site support
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical reasoning skills
