We are looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team, providing high-quality, autonomous clinical care to patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and minor illness. This role is specifically focused on weekend and overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Autonomously assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions, including minor illness
- Prescribe medications independently (V300 or equivalent essential)
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with UTC and organisational protocols
- Support MDT
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and legal standards
About You
- Registered Nurse (NMC) or Paramedic (HCPC)
- Independent Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) essential
- Experience in urgent care
- Competent and confident in the assessment and management of minor illness
- Able to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions under pressure, particularly during quieter overnight periods with reduced on-site support
- Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical reasoning skills
