Responsible for attracting and retaining the best talent for our business, through proactive management and delivery of end to end recruitment and onboarding. This includes pipeline development and employer branding.
Support managers and HR business partners in developing succession plans.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and HR business partners to understand future vacancies and promote VEKA recruitment standards and best practice.
Conduct and facilitate training and development for line managers in recruitment and selection standards.
Development of VEKA talent pool in line with GDPR.
Cost efficient management of recruitment methods.
Ensure cost effective and proactive use of varying recruitment channels.
Management of VEKA’s recruitment agency PSL.
Statistical measurement of and promotion of candidate diversity profile.
Development of VEKA’s youth apprenticeship offering, candidate sourcing and levy management.
Liaising with hiring managers/unit leaders to conduct shortlist selections.
Manage all candidate testing and profile assessments and interpretation.
Organisation of recruitment roadshows/events and development of external literature.
Ongoing view and development of VEKA’s external employer branding.
Working with HR Team on community liaison and initiatives to promote VEKA’s CSR development and diversity profiling.
Monthly KPI and data reporting and analysis.
Working with the wider HR team to proactively develop and improve VEKA’s Glassdoor presence and rating score.
Networking.
Previous recent experience of recruitment and candidate sourcing.
